Celebrating a decade as the learning experts

In June 2014 Peritus Learning and Development was incorporated, although the core roots of the business started 10 years earlier in 2004. 

For the first couple of years we specialised in face-to-face training, including IT courses and First Aid. In this year we became an ILM centre, running courses accredited by the Institute of Leadership & Management.

In 2016, we had just moved into our current office in the Dock, a tech hub in the city of Leicester. 

We began our crucial partnership with the powerful global LMS platform, Docebo. Our first client on the platform was Fix Auto - and they are still with us today!  

In 2018 we began to develop bespoke content for our clients. One project we are particularly proud of was with Investors in People in 2019, where we developed an internal training course to help upskill their assessors in a new assessment framework for Health and Wellbeing. 

We developed ISO courses, and GDPR  for when the new legislation came into effect. 

We continued to develop our ILM courses, moving to offer them online as well as in person. 

We developed online platforms to help SMEs, online content to map into apprenticeship frameworks, and ran accredited courses with a twist by always focusing on changing behaviours to enact change within a business. We always remain innovative and flexible to our clients' needs. 

There were some real highs and lows. We did everything we could to support our staff and clients through the difficult pandemic period that hit most industries hard. 

On a positive note, Leicester City did win the league and FA Cup! 

Despite the challenges, we came out strong, with a more diverse range of products and continued to grow. 

We're celebrating our 10 year anniversary and continuing our commitment to the learning community and our clients. 

We've launched a CSR initiative to make online learning accessible to every organisation, industry and learner in the UK! We also added more leadership and management courses to our product portfolio, and have plans to expand globally - watch this space and join us on this exciting journey!
